Setting up company details can be challenging for many small and medium-sized Shopify store owners without a Shopify Plus plan, where checkout cannot be edited. Our new B2B solution enhances your B2B customer`s experience. Our solution adds custom fields for company details (company ID, company name and VAT ID) and validates the VAT number in the EU. These features simplify the purchasing process both for you and your B2B customers. 

How it works

Register your Company details 

For the solution to work, customers must create a profile and fill out their Company name, VAT ID, and Company ID in the registration form. The solution then retains these custom attributes for future orders. During the registration process, VAT validation takes place and the company data can be later adjusted on the account page. During the purchase process, customers are prompted to log in on the cart page and VAT gets deducted in the checkout.

Automatic invoicing

Invoice your B2B customers

The company details are also viewed in the admin after the order is sent and this information is then used for invoicing. Our B2B solution operates seamlessly with Shopify Markets and syncs information with the Fakturoid invoicing system. If you invoice through Fakturoid integration, the data is automatically transcribed. Invoices issued from Fakturoid automatically contain the filled-in ID and VAT numbers and the invoice is correctly created in reverse charge. Company data are also stored in the Customers section using metafields and they can be used for any custom integrations.
